Shimla and this club is reconstituted again during each academic session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Aim :&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aim of education, training and encouragement in road safety is to educate and develop a road safety culture among students, teachers, parents, drivers\/riders and general public and also to stimulate an awareness so as to make improvement in road safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Structure :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chairperson&nbsp; :&nbsp; Principal \/ Head of the Institution<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coordinator :&nbsp; Senior Asst. \/ Assoc. Professor<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Committee Members :&nbsp; Asst. Professors<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Student Members : Enrolment of students ( both boys and girls) from all classes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Objectives :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To make students understand road safety, traffic rules and regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To provide an opportunity to students to become familiar with road safety education.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To involve students to become messengers of society at large on road safety and educate them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To facilitate participation of students in decision making in areas related to road safety while travelling by four vehicles (Bus, Car etc) and two vehicles (Motorcycle, scooty etc) or any other modes of transport.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To bring awareness among students about problems and difficulties that arise due to road accidents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To involve students in action based programs related to safe roads, safe speed, safe ride\/ drive and safe vehicles.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Orientations :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Audio-visual and photographic display on road safety.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Role of police, highways, transport and health.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Importance of \u2018Golden Hour\u2019 (first hour after road accidents) and helping the victims by calling Ambulances (108).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Causes of road accidents such as black spot, blind spot, drunken driving, rash driving, ignorance of traffic rules , long drive fatigue and mechanical problems in vehicles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Educate students about road signs &amp; symbols, traffic signals and road markings etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Road Safety Club in Government Arya Degree College Nurpur was constituted in 2018 as per directions from the directorate of higher education H.P.
