Geography Department at Govt. Arya Degree College, Nurpur, is one of the prominent departments offering comprehensive studies in the field of Geography. Established with a mission to impart knowledge about the earth’s physical features, human activity, and the interactions between them, the department plays a pivotal role in shaping well-rounded, knowledgeable graduates. The department focuses on both theoretical and practical aspects of Geography, preparing students to tackle real-world challenges related to environmental sustainability, climate change, and resource management.The Geography Department offers undergraduate (UG) courses leading to a Bachelor’s degree in Geography (BA in Geography). The curriculum is designed to provide students with a broad understanding of both physical and human geography, along with specialized subjects in Geography.
