Department of Botany, established in the year 2009, is one of the leading departments of the Govt. Arya Degree College, Nurpur. It provides a friendly and co-operative place for undergraduate science student to learn and study. The department has a dedicated faculty and non-teaching staffwho are passionate about their profession and use creativity with latest technology in their fields. The department maintains high standard of education through periodic tests, quizzes, assignments, workshops, training programmes, seminars and field visits. The laboratory is well equippedwith adequate facilities for providing theoretical as well as practical knowledgeto the students. The teaching learning process stresses on developing human values, scientific temperament, and skill development in the students. Department is using demonstration and blended mode of teaching to teach the students.Presently, the department has one Associate Professor and one Laboratory Staff member. Many students of this department have taken up teaching and research as their profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
