Department of B.Voc Hospitality & Tourism Established in 2017, the Department of B.Voc Hospitality & Tourism is a premier department at Govt. Arya Degree College, Nurpur. Our department provides a supportive and collaborative learning environment for undergraduate students pursuing Hospitality & Tourism studies. Our faculty members are dedicated, qualified, and passionate about their subjects. They leverage creativity and new technology to deliver engaging lessons, ensuring students receive a first-class education. We maintain high academic standards through regular tests, quizzes, seminars, and guest lectures, industry visit. Our teaching-learning process emphasizes developing scientific thinking and analytical problem-solving skills in students. To enhance the learning experience, we utilize audio-visual aids in our classes. This approach helps students grasp complex concepts more effectively and stay engaged throughout their academic journey. As an academic unit within the institution, the Department of B.Voc Hospitality & Tourism is committed to the study and training of Hospitality & Tourism.                                 Industrial Visits \u2013 B.Voc. Hospitality & Tourism<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                Industrial visits are an important component of the B.Voc. Hospitality & Tourism program, providing students with practical exposure to the professional hospitality industry. Our college organizes two industrial visits every year for students to reputed five-star hotels and leading hospitality brands such as ITC Hotels, Radisson Hotel Group, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts (Sarovar Portico), The Oberoi Group, Taj Hotels, and other renowned hospitality organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                During these visits, students get an opportunity to observe and understand the functioning of different hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food Production, and Food & Beverage Service. They learn about international service standards, guest handling, hotel operations, and the skills required to build a successful career in hospitality.<\/p>\n\n\n

                                On-the-Job Training (OJT) is an integral part of the B.Voc. Hospitality & Tourism program, designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry practices. The training provides students with hands-on experience in professional hospitality environments, enabling them to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                Our college facilitates OJT opportunities for students in reputed five-star hotels and leading hospitality brands such as ITC Hotels, Radisson Hotel Group, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts (Sarovar Portico), The Oberoi Group, Taj Hotels, and other renowned hospitality organizations.
