Academic Activities

During the academic session students participated in various Academic Activities in the college.

• Department of Mathematics organized a seminar on the occasion of National Mathematics Day.
• Department of Economics and Department of Commerce participated in the National level essay completion organized by HRMD under the topic “The RBI Policy Challenge 2023”
• Department of Economics and Department of Commerce organized an academic interaction on “Economic Budget of Himachal Pradesh 2024”.
• The Department of English conducted a seminar on communication Skills in which Dr. Parul Bakshi from Dr. B R Ambedkar University Delhi gave a lecture on the topic, ‘English Language Skills: An Introductory Session’.
• The Department of Economics also organized a competition namely “Shark Tank” that explored the business ideas and its implementation in the real-world scenario.
• The Department of Geography organized a student’s awareness programme in collaboration with NCC cadets and Rovers and Ranger Unit on the occasion of International Day for Disaster Risk Deduction 13 October 2023.
• An Educational tour was organised by the department of English on 4 December 2023 to Nakodar and its surrounding areas in which the students were given a glimpse of rural life and our rich cultural heritage.
• An Educational tour was organised by the department of History on 14 March 2024 in which students were introduced to the History of Nurpur Fort.

Commerce department organised poster making competition regarding ITR (New and Old Regime).
