NSS

National Service Scheme (N.S.S.)

The college has an NSS unit with Sh. Surjeet Singh (Assistant Professor of Commerce) as the program officer. The NSS unit was formed by enrolling 100 volunteers for session 2023-24. The following activities were performed during the session. 

1. On dated 09/08/2023 plantation drive was organised by NSS unit in the college campus. The unit collected Rs. 10000 and deposited in the CM relief fund.
2. A one-day cleanliness drive was organised by NSS unit on dated 21/09/2023 under the campaign Swachata Hi Sewa Campaign. NSS volunteers participated in cleaning the college campus and the famous Usha Mata Temple. 
3. On dated 29/09/2023 during NSS one day camp volunteers participated in cleaning the backyard of the administrative block, science block and commerce block. 
4. On dated 09/10/2023 NSS volunteers in various campus cleanliness and beautification activities. Volunteers carried out various activities like removing the construction remains from college ground. 
5. The seven days special camp was conducted in the college premises w.e.f. 30/12/2023 to 5 /01/2024 .50 volunteers participated in NSS special day camp. 
6. Cleanliness drive was organised under Swachhta Hi Sewa campaign on 13 March 2024.

Right from first to the last day the NSS volunteers cleaned up the whole college and removed   garbage by cleaning the drainage system. The volunteers cut the bushes and shrubs in the college. The NSS volunteers also conducted cleanliness drive in the nearby Usha Mata temple and Brij Raj Swami Temple and Mini Secretariat. during the camp Dr. Vishwjeet Singh Principal of the college and along with resource person guided all the volunteers and educated them about different new emerging issues. Mr Manish Kumar and Ms Kanika Rana were adjudged as the best volunteers during the camp
