Road Safety Club:
Dr. Diljeet Singh, Asistant Prof. (Zoology) has been appointed as coordinator and Prof Reema Kumari (Asst Prof English), Prof Surjeet Singh (Asst Prof Commerce), Dr. Suresh Chaudhary (Asst Prof Sociology), Prof Shiv Kumar (Asst Prof Mathematics), Dr. Rohit Kumar (Asst Prof Political Science) as members of the Road safety club. During the current academic session, 50 students were enrolled in the club.
- On dated 30-09-2023 An Introductory Lecture was organized about objectives of Road Safety Club and its activities.
- A slogan writing competition on the theme ‘Road Safety Rules’ was held in the
- college campus on dated 31-10-2023.
- A Declamation Contest on ‘Road Safety Rules and Measures’ was organized on dated 15-02-2024.
- An Awareness Lecture on the topic “Road Safety in Driving Vehicles with Precautions and Essential Documents was organized on dated 22-02-2024. Dr. Diljeet Singh and Prof Surjeet Singh were the keynote speakers.
- Lecture-cum- Workshop on the topic “First Aid, Golden Hour and CPR during Accidents and information about drugs abuse, Hepatitis and AIDS was organized. Dr. Tushar Saini Medical Officer from Civil Hospital Nurpur and Mr. Abhishek Kumar Health Counsellor from Civil Hospital Nurpur were trainers and spokespersons.
- Pallavi D/o Sh. Shubhkaran Singh BA 3rd Year and Rishabh S/o Sh. Karnail Singh BA 2nd Year are the best volunteers of Road Safety Club for the session of 2023-24
