Government Arya College, Nurpur organized a one-day educational tour for students of Commerce and Economics to Dharamshala. The main objective of the visit was to help students understand the process of tea production, along with its marketing and management aspects. The tour was guided by Prof. Kiran Bala, who explained the academic importance of such practical exposure. Students visited tea gardens and processing units where experts demonstrated various stages like plucking, processing, and packaging.
The tour provided valuable practical knowledge and real-world industry exposure. Students interacted with professionals, asked questions, and gained deeper insights into the tea business. The visit also included a trip to the Dalai Lama Temple, making it both educational and enriching. Prof. Kiran Bala and other faculty members appreciated the initiative for enhancing students’ overall learning experience.
