Mushroom Farming
62 college students successfully completed ‘Add on course on Mushroom Farming’. This 45-hour duration course was organized by the Department of Botany w.e.f. 1st September to 30 November 2025 for the skill enhancement of students. This Course on Mushroom Farming was organized with the objective of introducing students to the scientific methods and entrepreneurial opportunities in mushroom cultivation. The course was highly beneficial, as it helped students understand the potential of mushroom farming as a self-employment opportunity. The course aimed to enhance practical skills, promote sustainable agriculture, and create awareness about low-cost income-generating activities.
