Introduction

The Department of SANSKRIT is offering BA with Sanskrit under the CBCS/NEP. The degree programme offered by the Department of Sanskrit Consist of Discipline Specific core, Elective, Skill Enhancement & Generic Elective, AECC and compulsory Courses. The outcomes of courses are to provide moral value, ethics and quality education. It helps students to become more skilful and contribute more towards the nation building. It also provides more social values to students and helps in getting employed. Sanskrit also makes students precise as it is the only language which has the power to say something with the minimum words. Sanskrit is also called the language of the computers.

4उपनिषद, श्रीमद्भगवद्गीतातथापाणिनीयशिक्षाThe purpose of such a course is to make the students aware of the knowledge given in the Upanishad, Shrimad Bhagavad Gita and Panniyya Shiksha.
5संस्कृतनाटकThe main purpose of the composition of Sanskrit plays has been to entertain the sad, weary and grief-stricken people.
6संस्कृतव्याकरणNo man can get complete knowledge of pure language without grammar. Hence there is a close relationship between language and grammar. The purpose of this course is to give the knowledge of grammar to the students for the knowledge of pure language.

9संस्कृत-छंदएवंगायनThis course seeks to enrich the knowledge of the students regarding working of verses. Mantras are an important aspect of Hinduism. They are used in ritual and spiritual practices to express devotion, to establish communication or to fulfill wishes, and in many ways serve a similar purpose to prayer and prayer. Mantras and incantations have been used since ancient times by various ancient cultures to invoke or appease gods, ancestors and spirits or to cast spells. This can be possible with the knowledge of verses.
10व्यक्तित्वविकासकाभारतीयदृष्टिकोणThis course exposes students to awareness about the knowledge of Bhagavad Gita. In Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna personally explains the purpose of human life. He says that the purpose of human life is to become His devotee and come back to Him.

12पातंजलयोगसूत्रThe main objective of this paper is to make the students aware of the importance of Yoga. The purpose of Patanjali’s Yoga is to bring about this separation by means of understanding, devotion and practice.
13भाषाविज्ञानकेमूलभूतसिद्धांतThis course is designed to rigorously train the students in the concepts, origin and development of Linguistics. Linguistics is the basic basis for the study of any language. Written and unwritten literature and non-literature, publicized and disused, indigenous and international, native and multi-country, developed and underdeveloped languages are studied. Therefore its usefulness is paramount.

In the Natya Shastra of Bharata, the construction of the theatre has been explained in detail. Ancient inscriptions indicate that theatres were built in the same manner as temples carved into mountain caves.
