Government Arya College, Nurpur celebrated National Mathematics Day with great enthusiasm to commemorate the birth anniversary of the renowned Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.The event was organized by the Department of Mathematics under the guidance of the college faculty. Students actively participated in various academic activities aimed at promoting interest in mathematics and enhancing analytical thinking skills.
During the program, faculty members highlighted the remarkable contributions of Srinivasa Ramanujan to the field of mathematics and emphasized the importance of mathematical knowledge in everyday life and scientific advancement. A special lecture was delivered to inspire students to develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts and their practical applications. Around 100 students participated in the celebration. Various competitions and interactive sessions were conducted, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their mathematical abilities and problem-solving skills. The Principal appreciated the efforts of the Department of Mathematics and encouraged students to cultivate a scientific temperament and a positive attitude towards learning mathematics. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, making the celebration both informative and inspiring for all participants.
