The Add-On Course on Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) was successfully organized at Govt. Arya Degree College, Nurpur. This 30 hours course was conducted under the able guidance and leadership of Dr. Anil Kumar Thakur, Principal of the institution. The program was coordinated by Dr. K. Seema, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics. The course commenced on 6th October 2025 and concluded on 14th February 2026. A total of 51 students successfully completed this course, reflecting active participation and keen interest among the learners.

This course was thoughtfully designed to acquaint students with the rich and diverse intellectual traditions of India and to highlight their relevance in contemporary education. The course adopted a learner-centric and interactive pedagogical approach. In addition, students participated in expert lectures organized under the National Seminar Series on “Indian Knowledge Systems” by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college. These sessions provided valuable insights from distinguished academicians and professionals.
